Caught the first episode of the new season on BBC America last night and.. WOW! I was blown away by it. Matt Smith blew me away as the Doctor and the Karen Gillan was great as Amy Pond. Top notch stuff all around and it gave me high hopes for the rest of this season.

Just watched the last of the new series, and I thought the acting was terrific, love matt Smith as the Doctor, and I really like the character of Amy Pond too. The only problem was that some of the story lines were a bit feeble and way out there. Like the weeping angels not actually realising that Amy had her eyes shut that entire time??? Nah.

The Van Gogh episode is amazing...If you haven't gotten up to that point, I suggest you catch up!

Makes you think about what would happen in that episode though, won't spoil too much... sweatdrop

I love the weeping angels! Creepiest things ever. eek

I was a little worried about the 11th doctor...David Tennant's doctor was all super emo and epic, so I wasn't sure what would come after that. But I think the 11th doctor is just as good, just in his own way. And this season was pretty awesome, the finale was especially good. 3nodding

2010 Christmas Special Trailer is GO!

I like the show for the most part, the imagination behind a lot of the episodes are genius and they do stir up some kind of emotion. but I admit some things nag at me.

Mainly the portrayal of humans... They're boring. Maybe Britain really is that dull, so who could blame the girl jumping at the sight of a insane man telling her to get into his phone booth time machine. Like there seems to be a lack of curiosity for everyone but the main human character, even their boy friends. Cause of course, they're all taken, yet don't feel too bad to run away for a few months.. And for some reason the BF's don't mind waiting and bitching about it, instead of wanting to go on intergalactic adventures too.

Like I actually like this season cause the boyfriend actually gets to join in on the adventures. Which I admit, when that happens kind of makes the doctor seem like a homosexual friend to the couple instead of his usual look... Which would be him stealing everyone's girl friend.
