TeaDidikai Recursive Paradox I wonder if there are powerful beings out there that are regarded as deities and are like, "wtf is wrong with you people? Stop effing worshiping me." My friends have had experiences that amounted to that. It was... amusing. Thank goodness they are responsible enough to clean up after themselves.
My hope is that I'll end up good enough at following the light touch rule that after a few Ascensions, people won't know I'm doing anything and therefore won't be aware enough of me to worship me.

TeaDidikai If someone could show a theology that subscribes to misotheism, that would be useful. 3nodding The closest thing I could think of is some Old Norse Pagans rejected their gods (Freya being one of the more notable examples) but there wasn't any commentary on if said deities gave a flying rats a**.

I'm just saying, if they didn't want attention at at least some point, they wouldn't have made themselves known. they may not want it anymore. Then again, if they didn't care about humans one way or the other, they wouldn't bother to hide themselves either, leading to possible incidental contact. Funny how so few religions actually bother to explain how the gods revealed themselves to people. |
