Pour out of my head,
And onto the paper ahead.
No more seeking for the words,
Because I’m tired of hiding from them.

With music pounding at our back – knocking at the door.
Our hands hold together this heart we’ve made
A beautiful beginning to another chapter.
A thin string delicately wrapped around our fingers
And mending old wounds –
We let it tangle and twine and weave around us
So gracefully and fragile
Be careful to not pull too hard
Or it’ll tear into our frail heart.
But together we build solid ground.
“Together – we have tracked here.”

For it can be easily broken.
But as one with time,
