My name is Jess.
I am Chinese, and completely Chinese according to my parents (No Korean or Japanese or German or anything else at all!). But who knows, maybe I am of an additional culture and it was really, really far back before my great great great great grandparents' time.
I hate it when people assume I'm smart just 'cause I'm Asian. It's all "You got straight A's, didn't you?", and they haven't even seen my report card. I'm smart because I worked for it, not just because I'm Chinese! Though that's the stereotype, like I have no social life because I'm wasting it studying. Gosh.
I heart anime and manga. Paranoia Agent, FMA, Pokemon, Bleach- A whole bunch of 'em!
I know waaaay, way too much Japanese culture than I know Chinese culture. Is that wrong? It's because of my anime and manga obsession. *Sigh*
I play cello and piano. Music, music, music...
I only speak English. (It's freaky; I know more Japanese words than Chinese words too. How weird is that?)
