Even though I'm a gay guy I enjoy reading yaoi. It's as accurate a representation of real-life gay romance as your "normal" straight manga is, but it seems like guys who like yaoi get accused of not being "real gays".
I'm a very effeminate boy. I like yaoi because it's cute and adorable even though I know it's not the same- how many people do that with straight manga?
It just seems like there's a total double standard here.

yeah I think the same as you, yaoi is almost the same as any other straight manga, but yaoi-hater people dont think of it that way, and just think its gross.
I hate it when people think that way -.-
but if someone is saying stuff about it, ignore them because if you try to tell them something, they wont listen.
