Legend has it that St. Patrick charmed all the snakes out of Ireland. He missed one. This man beside me is Paddy O'Furniture. I don't know if he is trying to charm me or the snake.
If you are Irish today please post here and show off your greenery.
They say that there are two kinds of people in the world. Those who are Irish and those who wish they were.
Which are you?
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE.
Don't drink and drive. biggrin cheese_whine biggrin cheese_whine mrgreen

I have Irish ancestry on both my mom and real-father's side of the family!
I just wish I knew who they were/are!

We were told there was Irish/Sioux in our family some generations back... recent findings in the records indicate it is neither... it's Cherokee raised by an Irish family... so was almost Irish... wink

I believe it was my maternal grandfather's great grandmother that came from Ireland, but they kept marrying other Irish descendants, so my grandfather is full blooded Irish. He married my grandmother, who had a significant amount of Irish blood, so I get a lot from that side. My dad's side is part Irish too but he doesn't keep good track of his family history so I know very little about his heritage other than that it is Irish, German, and a little Czech.
