Has anyone been looking at the new Dark Synchros and Dark Tuners being released in the OCG being shown in the anime? The Dark Tuners seem kind of questionably playable to me (edit: if they make it to physical cards...)

I wasn't aware of the Dark Tuner and Dark Synchro cards being released in the OCG, I thought it was an Anime exclusive.

Dark Synchros are not being released into OCG. They're strictly anime exclusive.

Ooooops, sorry about that, Sieg's right. My friend was telling me about them and a pic on Yugioh Wikia looked like an actual card, so I assumed they were in the OCG. My bad. (Why'd the anime have to get so good at making fake Yugioh cards! crying ) They still seem incredibly weird, though.

So because the anime shows fictional characters that play fictional cards that we can't hold ourselves, it's "fake"?

It's story, and plot.

They aren't forever fictional though. I would have to call them unreleased.

As I have heard, yes, they will remain an anime exclusive for story plot, simply because it goes against game mechanics; being their negative level. The minimal level a monster can be treated as is 1.

Hundereds of cards have been rewritten. For example the Dark Synchro's would probably be written as the level of the Dark Tuner minus the level of the non-Dark Tuners, therefore giving the Dark Synchro's a positive level by just changing it from the level of non-Dark Tuners minus the level of a Dark Tuner.

Of course if they did bring them out it would probably be as a type of Synchro Monster so they dodn't have to make a new category.

First one defeats the purpose. The second one makes more sense, but I doubt they'd do it. :/

Even though it seems highly unlikely. I hope they make the Dark Synchros. I mean trhey already set up the way the negative lev el looks on the anime (Blue Level on the left side of the card instead of the usually red level on the right) Plus Freezing Fitzgerald FTW!

One Hundred Eye Dragon would be super broken IRL with that effect.
