Anyone up for a pirate RP?

I have a character in mind who's grounded in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, but I can drop that aspect if you're not a fan. There's a whole bio on the character in my journal, but I'm currently in the process of revamping her history, so I'll just share the basics here:

Name: Esme Sparrow
Age: 20
Title: Captain of the Bird of Paradise
Brief History: Esme was born and raised on Martinique, a French colony at the time, though her mother had lived in an English settlement since she was seven. They lived in a mansion with the best tutors and a full staff, but at 16, Esme left home to find her real father (who wasn't her mother's deceased husband). She took along her friend, Amity, a maid in the household, and set off for London, where she gathered a crew, a ship, a gun, and a few months of acting experience on the West End. After that, the little ship sailed to South America, to a coastal town in Venezuela, where Esme picked up her first mate and best friend, Angelito, a merchant's son and master swordsman. The crew traveled up to the wilds of North America, befriending Native American tribes and antagonizing the British settlers, before returning to the Caribbean for further pillage and plunder, as well as the chance for Esme to find (and impress?) her father.
