Sounds like a banker's cereal, doesn't it?

So: How are the mistakes of our beloved banks affecting you? Anything you've had to cut back on? Any favourite shops closed down? Out of work?
Let it all out here!

Out of work? Yes. But Waterstones and Gamestation have not been affected yet. Long may they remain open! I have the time to read good sci fi & fantasy novels and play Fallout 3 now...

Im seeing the prospect of pay cuts yes below average pay rises for years and as inflation is negative below average pay cuts so pay cuts of a more negative number.
Also my Dad has lost his job that hes had for over 25 years and a fellow worker who has been there for 40 years.

oh and as a student everythings suddenly jumping in price

At least as a student your loan is guaranteed and the interest is 0%!

Tbh, I'm not entirely sure how it's effected me personally.

I live with parents, so I don't need to worry about bills or anything.

I've noticed some things have gone up in price, but I've noticed a lot of places are doing deals and price cuts on a lot of their stock.

Take supermarket boose, for example. While it's normally cheap anyway, I've been seeing a lot of price reductions and things.

Although I'm not unemployed as such, I am only a temporary worker. But I seem to be getting two or three days of work a week, so I must be doing something right!

I'm sure it was pegged to inflation (and that was changed). Sadly, I have no idea where my last letter from the idiotic SLC is.

Might have been thinking of my student overdraft.

Damn.

I'm in university as well. I commute instead of living on campus (staying at home) and work part time. I'm glad the year's over because every penny of my paycheck went only to commuting. I'm sure that totaled to be around $2,200 +/- through out the year. Also, paying of credit card, slowly but surely (not a huge credit limit since I'm in college,so it's my easiest). But I recently discovered I owe my scholl about $3,000 eek . So, once again every penny I get from working more over the summer goes to school. (At least in a sense I'm paying myself since it is my education). If I'm lucky, maybe I'll hit lotto, pay off my debts, and finish school without anymore loans surprised surprised (that'll never happen! razz razz razz )

Well wishes to everyone here. heart heart
