I know that the number 4 is considered unlucky.

yeahh because in cantonese the number 4 sounds similar to 'death'

annnd never give someone a clock for their birthday and avoid it as a gift in general.. apperantly when the clock stops working they die xD

Well, adding to the ones you said in the first post, every new year my mom nails grapes to the frame above every door. My friends joke around a lot about why there are raisins outside my doorstep rofl.

-My mom wasn't told her birthday until she was married because it would be bad if a witch got the date since they use it to curse her.
- It's bad luck for a cat to run into the house. We had that once and my mom started spreading salt everywhere the cat was.
- Crickets are good luck so don't kill them.
-When eating fish on a boat don't flip the fish to eat the other side, you need to pull the bones out. Flipping the fish means the boat will flip.

Oh we have a TON of superstitions.
Apparently, my mom thinks I automatically am supposed to know them. O - e
On Chinese New Years, we aren't allowed to clean (vacuum, sweep, clean floors, etc) because it means "sweeping away" the New Year's luck.
We also have a lot of rules about jinxing, in which we aren't allowed to use "you" or "I" when talking about something bad like death or somthing, even if it is just hypothetically speaking. > o <
We also aren't allowed to wear anything white in our hair, because the typical Chinese tradition for funerals is to wear wear white like a white clip in your hair.

Mann I get yelled at big time for when I do these things.
Theres more but I cant really think of anymore right now.
But these are the main ones.
