I just got the DDR Universe 2 bundle for XBox 360 yesterday. I just tried it out today, but my dance pad does not work - completely. It works fine when selecting difficulties, selecting anything for that matter... works perfectly. But once a song loads up, my pad only works for the first few notes, then the game doesn't register ANYTHING afterwards. I've tried on multiple songs, and it still does the same thing.
I've tried to shake out the pad, turning the game on and off with and without the mat plugged in, I've tried flattening out the pad and just moving it around... but nothing is working! |: This game is BRAND NEW, and I'm really disappointed. I haven't read anything about this problem online, I've been trying to find an answer.
The only way I can make it work is if I really STOMP on it, and I mean... even harder than a stomp, which I just can't do when I'm trying to play a song. The jump-steps don't even register. So I tried to put the mat on top of my older foam mat (for ps2, I have tile flooring down here) and the arrows registered a small bit more... but not very much at all.
I know that a lot of us on here play quite a bit of DDR, so I was hoping someone could help me out with this issue? >< I was planning on playing a lot today, but it doesn't even work!
