The stone sits,
The bird flies,
The river sings its song,
Bought with the lives of our soldier,
This land has been hallowed by their blood,
Now its safekeeping has fallen onto us,
No longer any disputes solved at the tip of a sword,
But by all the people of the land,
Who maintain peace with sound judgment and civil tongue,
Now the ballot has been cast once more,
To chose for our land a new leader,
One who would execute the law to it’s fullest extent,
Who would seek justice for all,
And who will defend the right to freedom held by all men.
