Fantasy Models

I had posted this in Fantasy section, obviously the wrong section.

Just wondering what you all thought is the most fun model to paint in all of warhammer fantasy.
ive never really wanted to play it, but id like to paint some.

along with your ideas, i was also wondering what race/army would consist of the most dragons? or dragon-esque creatures.
smile ill be waiting patiently for your replies, hope i can get some good ideas soon biggrin

::EDIT:: my bad, i had a brain fart and forgot about the Lizardmen. now, i guess since ive found all the dragon-esque models my heart desires, im looking for full fledged dragons

I wouldn't say that Lizardmen are dragon-esque...

The one army with the closest connections to dragons are High Elves.

Though I don't see why one can't just buy dragon models and paint for display... You don't have to play with all Warhammer Miniatures ya got ya k now, I got PLENTY of display only models myself. ;D

that is a very good point
thing is i like the size of them, small enough that the paint job doesnt have to be godly to look good.

if i were to pick up a model, not a miniature, is there a particular brand that makes good models? maybe have a website i can order off?

I have GW models I paint up to look nice and I don't play with them, that makes them display models, not gaming models.

it was the confusion, or, err, misunderstanding that was funny..


i see what you mean now though, i assumed that you had display only, non-GW models

and im looking for, well, what you have, GW models to paint and display.
