As some of you might know, my grandpa has been sick awhile (summer '08 ). we just found out it was cancer and that he hasn't much time.. its in his lungs and doctors said theres no treatment. your support is greatly appreciated. will keep you guys updated when i have time.

My uncle has lung cancer. It's a terrible shame that people must suffer like that.

teh suck...sry to hear, u have my condolences...
a friend of mine, sieg's and kain's(Kyle, he called and told me...please do pay your respects...) uncle has passed away today...he wasn't in much of the dueling mood being that his uncle also played card games....

too bad mate, my grandfather had lukemia (sue me I don't know how to spell) and I'm being tested for skin cancer

my uncle died from lung cancer in october 07, almost a month after my grandfather died from heart attack, im still healing from the loss... i feel for yeh man, cancer is a serious issue that needs to be cured besides chemo which doesnt neccesarily work in the best ways or work at all.

Well, it's good to know that people bond with their grandfathers/uncles, unlike me. I didn't feel a thing when my grandfather died.
Make his last moments worth it.

*Update*
My grandma told him approx 45mins prior to this post that he had cancer. He apparently was ok with it (i wasn't present due to personal reasons) and said that he was ready when the time came.
I'm starting to think that my title is now a bit misleading...>>
(trying to cover pain with humor now...)

thats what makes me hurt, i never got to know my uncle, and i wished i knew my grandfather better but sadly he had dimensia which severly inhibited his mental faculties, im just happy his last couple of years were happy for him even if i couldnt see him.

hes gone south with my grandma for a biopsy. he wants to know what's bothering him. Doctors in Nova Scotia (first place it got bad) last year said not cancer, doctors up north, said not cancer, local doctors said it was cancer. we don't know anymore....On a side note, i'm sorry for all of you on your losses.
