I thought I would put up a Remembrance Day thread to honor our Soldiers who fought in the wars of the past and to those still fighting today.
I would like to honor 3 of my historic relatives, one of which is still alive smile
The first is my great great great grandfather Jerry Potts, an invaluable guide and interpreter to the Mounties that were forging the path to an area many Albertans know as Fort Macleod.
The second is my great great grandfather Napoleon Provost, a survivor and a soldier that helped make this day a time of remembrance. He fought in the first World War.
The last is My great grandpa Jack Bastien who is turning 86 this month smile He fought in the second World War and is a great person. I enjoy listening to his stories.
Anyone else that wants to post a person of significance may do so here smile
