"Well, I'll see you tommorow." he said, as he walked to the door and opened it. It was still raining outside.

"See you." Twyla tacked the piece of paper to the refrigerator as Tam left.

And just like that, it was Friday. Tam was at his apartment, getting ready for the party. He sent his address to Twyla, and went into the living room to get ready. Chips, dip, sandwiches, chili, Xbox hooked up to Big TV. All set. He just finished being prepared when the doorbell rang. And so it starts.

Friday, Twyla paced up and down in the kitchen. Maybe I shouldn't go. But I was asked to go, so I should at least try to leave. Why am I worried about this? Maybe because the only person I'll know is Tam. Still, there might be some people from work there... After a while, about 2 or 3 minutes of pondering, Twyla wrote a note to her father saying she'd be out and put it by the phone. She pulled on a coat, took the paper with the address off the fridge and consulted it. Then she stuffed it in a pocket and hurried out the door and down the street.

After getting confused at a couple crossroads, Twyla found herself standing at the door of his apartment. A couple people were already there, she could tell by the noise inside of the complex. She bit her tongue, turned her short-brimmed hat down, and rang the doorbell.

All she had to do was wait.

Tam opened the door for Twyla. "Heya." He scootched to let her in. "We got Guitar Hero, Pizza, and Baseball out back." he smiled as he talked.
