Fox's plog (Starting coats on Elves, dwarfs soon!)

Right, so I've been working on a seminar for the store I work for on painting models to look really nice with under 10 colors. After using some tips from my co-workers, I've decided to put together the first colors of my Betrayal of Malekith army (Set in the first war between Nagarythe and the rest of Ulthuan) alongside the Ulthuan Defenders. Note that all of these first pictures are high elf models, with Dark Elf paint jobs.

Also, I'll be posting some of my new dwarfs, the Black Beards, soon enough.
And coming after that, Bloodletters!

Nagarythe Pheonix Guard cape
Using only Hormaguant purple, then a Leviathan purple wash, then mixture of Horma purple and Bleached Bone for highlights.

Defender of Ulthuan cape
Same technique, just with blues! (Foundation paints rock!)

Nagarythe Soldier's clothes

You need better lighting when taking pictures. I cant really tell whats what. crying

I gotta agree with DZ, here. You'd really benefit well from setting up some more serious lighting so we can get a glimpse at the details.

agreed, better lighting would help, maybe this would help (skitsoverburn's 'taking photos' thread)

however, from what i saw of the models, they look good!
