So I was wondering, pondering, thinking about horoscopes and randomly decided to check mine today and it ended up being very accurate. I checked the one I would've had yesterday and it was wrong as hell. (I can't afford to move and you know it cafeastrology.com)
I was wondering what everyone else though about seeing your future in the stars and such. Do you have a birth chart or do you do anything like that at all? Does the general description of your zodiac sign describe you?

Well, first of all, I see constellations. Then I think, I wish I knew how to navigate by the stars! (Literally, the way they did in the olden days).

I find horoscopes fun, and usually mine hit the nail on the head. I'm an Aquarius, or Capricorn, depending which system you believe in. I did a birth chart online once for fun, that was very generic, but it seemed to fit me and explain a lot of things.

I don't know about the predictive value of horoscopes. It's a form of divination, and divination is something a lot of people find highly subjective and vague. It depends how superstitious or spiritual you are, or if you hold to a very scientific creed.

I don't beleive in astrology at all, I just think it's kinda fun to read predictions of how my day will be, and then prove them horribly wrong later.

As an Aries, I'm 'supposed" to be self-confident, couageous, impatient, impulsive, enthusiastic, a leader, stubborn, straight forward, adventurous, irritable, outspoken, ambitious, and an individual.

Yes it describes me, but I found stuff that describes me in every sign.

My Chinese zodiac sign barely describes be, just barely.

I don't think you can tell the future or that the angles of celestial bodies really effect our lives on earth, but hey, I could be wrong. *shrugs*

I don't believe in astrology either, But it's fun to read at the end of the day and see how not matching it really is, I never read my horoscopes in the beginning of the day, just at the end and until now it never proved any accuracy, I don't know about other kinds of divination though like tarot cards and whatnot, but i think that they have a big deal of speculations.
The descriptions of the zodiac groups fits me for the mos t past but it's sometimes inaccurate at some descriptions, especially the favorite colors and love expectations.

Not that I regularly check mine, but when I do it's usually completely wrong or involves a subject of no importance to me. Just my experiences though, I'm not saying it's wrong for everyone.

i check mine from timew to time, most times its kinda acurate

as for my profile(scorpio) it seems to describe me a lot O_O;; most times anyways haha i ussually try and take the negative sides of that sign and try and make sure i'm not completely insane(if you ever read the scorpio one you know its all jealousy and revenge rawr eat your face kind of thing) haha so i try and not be those things as mucha s possible razz

I don't usually agree with my horoscope in the paper. But I think my sign(I'm a Pisces) quite accurately describes me personality.

My astronomy teacher passed out strips of paper describing general characteristics shared by individuals born under a certain sign. When she asked how many thought the description was accurate, most of the class raised their hand (big class, probably 80 people). It turns out the all the descriptions were the same... and they were meant to represent Aquarius.

I don't really think being born in a certain year/month says too much about a person's inner workings, but I still check my horoscope from time to time. It's already been said that horoscopes and zodiac signs are very general and vauge for the sake of making counterexamples jump through hoops, so I won't say much on that.

I do like my Chinese zodiac sign, though. It's flattering to be called "The most eccentric sign, full of dreams and romantic ideas, perfectionists and seekers of knowledge at heart".
I could do without the "impatient and optimistic" bit, but I take what I can get, I suppose.
