When did you learn to tie your shoes?

I was like in second grade or so.

Before second grade I'd tie my shoes the way how you like basically tie your laces in a knot & then you fold both sides in half & tie them. My mom would get mad though, because she'd tell me that was the cheap way to tie them. I still find that absurd. D<

I still wear shoes with laces, but I just slip them on anyway. ;D
