I'd say this has been my favourite weight loss book EVER. I bought it a while ago and never read it completely 'till now. It's witty and cute, as well as packed full of easy, wonderful information. There's stories and a lot of truth.

Has anyone else read it? What were your thoughts?

I've read a lot of life change for weight loss books, and over all this one has been simply the best. It's almost for everyone. (Some people like the condescending a** kicking tones that you'd find in Skinny b***h) I'm a vegetarian and all I had to do was ignore the parts about dairy and meat and everything still applied, and that was most of everything as she doesn't talk at length about different food groups.

As for Skinny b***h as mentioned above, it's one of those tough love books. I've been toying with getting the recipe book from them if only because it's all completely vegan. That's their line eh, and while I don't mind converts, I do mind trying to dangle ideal weight in front of people as if being vegan is the answer. There are LOTS of fat vegans. ._.

It's got the little pushes that I really need, because I'm not a diet person, I'm a change person, because my life style changed to get me to this weight, it has to change to get me down.

So I'd recommend it to everyone and anyone. Especially people that eat meat as the book is not vegetarian.

I've never heard of the book, but I confirm that French women don't get fat XD
Since my dad's been dating a French girl, he lost about 10-15 pounds just by taking her eating habits o.o it's AMAZING, and yet they eat as much as anyone else DX I DUN GET IT!

Yeesh, finally I got the book from the library xD

It's more interesting than I expected (I was used to story books like Harry Potter and Twilight, although I gave up after New Moon lol) and it made me think more about what and how I was eating.

From what I've read so far, they don't encourage restricting, but portion control. You get pleasure from the first few bites so if you eat slowly, concentrate on your senses without any distraction, you should feel satisfied with only a small amount. (I've had experience xD I eat less dark chocolate than milk chocolate even though I love dark more, simply because it takes longer to melt and therefore I can taste it for longer =])

They also don't make you exercise heaps at a gym or something. Just try to incorporate extra walking and stuff like that into your day-to-day lives. It's about lifestyle, not a temporary weight loss like fad diets (which they ridicule).

I'm not following exactly like that thing about the leek soup, but I'm trying to monitor what I eat and trying and get as much pleasure from it as possible, which according to them is the reason for eating whee
