Mkay I has an essay to do and it says


Describe a time when you, or someone you know were paralyzed in with fear. Where were you? What happened?

Problem is I never been paralyzed with fear or knew someone that's been paralyzed by fear <_<;;
Help me out?

1.) 2/3 of a number is 8

2.) 3 less than the product 5 and a number is 12

3.) 18 fewer than half a number is -15

As for the math...

1. 2/3x8/1=16/3=5.3333 or just keep it as a fraction I guess.

2. 5x-3=12
Add 3 to both sides
5x=15
divide both sides by 5
x = 3

3. 1/2x-18=-15
add 18 to both sides.
1/2x=3
x=6

Yay. :]

x = 8 / (2/3) = 8 x (3/2) = 12

2) 5x - 3 = 12

5x = 12 + 3 = 15

x = 15/5 = 3

3) x/2 - 18 = -15

x/2 = 3

x = 3 x 2 = 6
