So.. I was finally backing up my pictures on my computer/laptop onto this drive my mother gave me a while back.

I'm organizing it while transferring them, so I figured I'd delete the one's on my computer/laptop,
and just transfer the completely organized one from the drive.

So I delete the one's on my computer,
and I empty my recycling bin because of some error message something gave me..

And all of a sudden, the drive is like, "I'm gonna become corrupt now."

So I basically just lost 5 months worth of pictures. gonk

I <3 pictures if you guys didn't know.

I've uploaded all my pictures onto photobucket.
Which are mostly anime and pokemon pictures.
I sympathize with you.

Oh, I love taking pictures.
I had about a bazillion of them.

Hopefully my mother can help me recover them. ;~;

Well.. My laptop had a virus a couple months ago, and I plugged in the drive,
maybe giving it a virus.

But my mom had her boyfriend scan it, and she said it was all clear.

So I don't know.

I was hoping to copy the folder from the drive back to my laptop,
since I organized it and all.. but yeah.

well , i heard that there's this photo recovery thingy .
but iunno if it works with like , back-ups and stuff. : /

Don't save anything or do anything that would overwrite stuff to the corrupted drive where you lost data!

Search for a program to recover the stuff, as there are programs which can recover deleted data.

So actually, don't do anything to your computers hard drive!
Though they may be gone from the recycle bin and such programs can recover that :O

Unfortunately I got no link to a free recover software presently but it shouldn't be hard.

Simple organized of above's thoughts.

• Do not do too much with saving and installing and such of new things or else it'll overwrite the data still on the hard drives.
  
• When you delete something its not completely deleted only put up for the ability to be overwritten
  
• With the correct software (which you can find for free) you can recover things you've deleted as long as they've not been overwritten
  
• This is a warning to all ye who think you can delete stuff you don't want others to see xD
