PathWays Thread Contest
PathWays was formed on January 16th of 2006 in order to foster a safe place for individuals to express their understanding of the path they are on and to provide insight to others.
Over the course of two years and a half years PathWays has come to hold over forty threads.
Some of these threads have hundreds of replies. Some have none.
Some of these threads have served to help their authors understand their traditions better, giving rise to critical thought and reasoning as questions are posed.
Some of these threads have provided insight on a tradition's mythology and the role these things have in a person's life.
All in all, PathWays has developed beyond the goals of it's inception in wonderful ways.
It is with a spirit of community growth, a desire to further our understandings of our paths and each other, and a healthy sense of competition that we announce this contest.
Eligibility:
The Threads-
Threads with their initial posts prior to September 1st are eligible for this contest.
(At the time of this post, that is over a month to prepare an introduction to your path if you haven't done so already.)
The Votes-
Voting will begin on September 1st and will continue until September 15th.
How to Vote-
With so many threads to consider, for simplification- each ballot will have the voter pick three threads they liked the most.
Each of those three threads will be given points on the following categories:
Insightfulness-
How you feel this has helped you to understand the Poster's path.
Thoughtfulness-
How well you feel the Poster kept in the spirit of PathWays by being friendly and honest.
Writing Quality and Style-
How well you feel the Poster expressed their ideas in an accurate and interesting way.
Originality-
How much of a sense of the person you get from reading what may spiritually be a shared path.
Diligence-
How much time and effort do you feel the Poster spend in answering the questions posed to them.
Each category is worth five points. If you feel they didn't give it the old college try, give them a 0.
If you are amazed at their effort and performance, give them a five.
In the end, add up totals for each thread individually (for the sake of going easy on the people tracking the contest).
The total points for the threads will determine the winners.
Votes will be submitted to the Guild Mule- PFRehab.

Post Script- TeaDidikai is disqualified from the contest itself. Having formulated the subforum, the contest and provided the prizes, this makes a fair amount of sense.
