I recently purchased the first three books in a nine book series written by Calvin Miller. Each book is a six-week study on every one of the fruit of the Spirit. I think this thread will find a happier home in Bible Discussion, as well as the next eight threads that will follow, but since that's still getting cleaned out we can start off here in the main forum.
There is no set schedule for this study/discussion. The thread is meant for me to provide a general synopsis of what was included in each week's lessons and leave it open for guild members to use and talk about. Of course, I would certainly suggest getting the books yourself: the first is quite amazing already.
I, however, still hope to be a resource for everyone here to learn more about Christlike character and to be able to discuss these together and teach one another. At the end of every post and at the end of the threads, I'll post the study questions from the book and, if I can think of any myself, post those too, to help start up a discussion.
