Well I'm working on a cosplay as the commentator from .hack//GU, but I don't know what kind of fabric to use for the clothes. ._. The people at Joann Fabrics suck so I need some real advice! :3

I'd definately stay away from shiney stuff because that'd make the blue look cheep. something like a nice crushed velvet/velveteen/similar fabric would look cool though. Though I like to work with Knit fabrics because they look more like something someone would wear in real life, plus they have a bit of streach to them so you could make the sleeves tight and not baggy. And to get the flip on the bottom, I'd use some type of iron-on stiffening fabric stuff (whatever its called >.<) or something like that. Just me tho.


EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though a woolen suit fabric would be best!
