This is your life...
I saw Persepolis a few nights ago, and I have to say it was one of my favorite 2D animated movies. I've always been interested in the Middle East and I don't know much about Iran as of right now besides what I've learned from the movie. Has anyone else seen it?
Discuss~ Persepolis Iran ....More Persepolis~

I love Persepolis. I loved that it stayed true to Marjane Satrapi's style of drawing. It was fascinating to watch the story of her childhood during the Iranian Revolution, and I really got a better idea of what Iran was like during that time period than any of the history classes I took could ever explain. Hilarious, poignant, wonderful. Casting Catherine Deneuve and Chiara Mastroianni as mother and daughter respectively was pretty genius.

I saw this in the rental store and was interested but didn't rent it... instead rented Gotham Knight... Is Persepolis worth the effort of renting?
