Star Trek: The Experience reopening? UPDATE!

Wow. Just wow. There may be hope indeed.

And I agree with Anthony Pascale's statement (in the article), that they would need to revamp it. The theme of the old one was completely TNG/DS9/Voyager. And it needs to be a bit bigger as well. (The old one felt a little cramped to me.) Although I must say, I like the old props that were used originally. Like that model of the NCC-1701 Enterprise that was hanging from the ceiling above the entrance. Not to mention the NCC-1701-D Enterprise and NCC-74656 Voyager models as well. I hope they don't scrap them.

And they say it could be back early 2009? I'd have to see that to believe it.

According to Wikipedia, it might be moving to the Neonopolis mall in its entirety in 2009 if a deal can be worked out. Which would be awesome. Whenever I've gone to Vegas, I visit the Star Trek stores, but I always went with my super-cheap parents who could never justify $15 per person for a "ride." rolleyes I'd love to finally get to do the whole thing.

Also, my husband and I wanted to go there on our 5th wedding anniversary to renew our vows, so I'm really hoping this pans out! xd

I can't even go see the movie on premier day because of AP testing. D:<
I live too far to go to Vegas whenever I want anyways... (setting aside the fact that I'm a minor)

BUT I AM SO GONNA GO THIS SUMMER FOR THE CONVENTION biggrin
Even if the rides aren't up. biggrin

I hope it will be as cool as the old experience.

AP Testing is during the day, and te 8th is a Friday. Why not just go after your exam and use it as a way to relax?

Ahahaha.... I'm considering skipping my job that day actually. I just have to manage to get there for the matinee or my dad won't let me go till Saturday. But school gets out at 3:30... aaugh I don't know...
