It's normal. You're a teenager, and your horomones are all out of whack and raging, as is your body. That means your emotions, and your thought process, as well. I wouldn't suggest cutting, however. It is a destructive practice, mutilating your body. When I started feeling that way a few years back, I relied heavily on drawing, painting, playing my flute. I forced myself to hang out with other people, and it became a habit. Things started to get better. Try to look at life with a positive attitude.

Here's the thing. I'm not a doctor and can't diagnose anyone. It could anything from teenage angst to clinic depression. I am bi-polar and I have these moments. I fix them by staying positive every day and when these episodes pop up I remember "If I hurt myself, I'm hurting those who I love."
I just breathe out and relax a little. My manic episodes consist mainly of racing thoughts and much about the wrong topics, such as love. My fix is just to stare into the skyline or the sunset just clear out my head..
It's not so bad living with bi-polar. Girls love a sensitive guy, lol. Only problem is relationships because I can't avoid anger flashes and I can't help but WANT somebody to be with while I'm trying to stay single.

It's true, I've been secretly stalking Izual for a year now. ninja But on your issue I suggest you throw away the blades or stop using yourself as the punching bag. I'd begin to develop a healthy curiosity about things. If you have ever had hobbies, take them back up. If you have ever had wierd obsessions or fascinations, research them. Go to a place you've never been to before. Release your mind from it's constraints and allow yourself time to enjoy, not just deal with, reality. The sooner you open yourself up to better new things, the sooner you replace/crush old unwanted habits. Gooooooood Luuuuck! exclaim

i don't cut but i hurt myself in other ways it's alright, you'll be okay just find something to do when ur depressed instead of cutting draw, write poems, read, take a hot shower, something keep calm and think rationally, you'll do fine keep your mind on something happy, if you can it'll be all right if you keep ur chin up and do what u gotta do
