I've been wondering...

...What is the obsession Japanese storyboard artists have with placing singular wings on characters(Cloud and Sephiroth in the first KH game, Most of the characters in the closing credits to Code Geass R2.. etc)?

It kinda bothers me, cuz I'm slightly OCD when it comes to symmetry.

I don't really know.. I don't think I've ever seen that.
Maybe since I don't play a lot of those games.

One wing won't really get you anywhere, but I guess it could look kind of cool?
I'd be fine with it, but I can't handle two wings that aren't the same size.
