I have read this series although it remains incomplete until around the end of the year. The story line follows around these five kids gifted with paranormal powers. They have to come together to defeat the Old Ones who are trying to escape their prison in another world to come and wreak havoc on the real world like they once did before they were banished. The books so far are Raven's Gate, Evil Star, and Nightrise. I though it was a really good series. Has any one else ever read them and if you have what did you think?

i picked up the first book by accident and was immediately hooked...
I liked them when I was younger and i liked them. Now my best friend has them and I'm never going to see them again. crying
Also what you're talking about aren't those the new ones. The ones he rewrote?
I think they are the new ones. I read somewhere that he was re-doing them as this series. There is a title to the one that should be coming out soon also. I have to go find it again.
