Subjecting to ridicule?

I dress the way I do, listen to the music I do, wear the makeup I do purely and simply because I like it.
I like 95% of the attention I get from it.
That's not saying I get much, but for the most part I like it and it's not necessarily negative.

It isn't right to mock anyone yet it is naive to think that you won't be noticed and given either positive or negative comments. It's up to the individual to determine whether it is worth while or not to express themselves through their appearance.

When you dress gothic, you can be sure that there will be people who will insult you, threat you, call you a satanist and other stuff like that. It is pretty much unavoidable. It WILL happen.

If you cant take it, if you let it hit you, you shouldnt dress gothic. Its kinda a part of it.

Im not saying that its okay, to go around insulting people like that. They are the ones who are wrong, not you. But no matter if you want it or not, dressing gothic will draw other peoples attention

I dream of the day, when people can dress how ever they want, without being afraid of bieng insultet or threaten. But untill then, i will just shake my head, because of their lack of knowledge, and not take them seiously. Thats the only thing you really can do.
