I've never met another vegan...but I do know a few vegetarians. smile

But Oregon is a veg-friendly state! I'm excited to meet some more veg-friends! :]

Yes, most of my friends are at least vegetarian, with the vast majority being vegan.

My best friend all through elementary school was a strict vegetarian.

A good handful (or two) of girls in my grade are vegetarian, but I don't think I know any vegans.
I'm excited about going to university next fall though, because there are sure to be clubs & groups
centered around veg*nism and all that it encompasses. It'd be nice not to be the odd one out always.


Also, my little sister's friend (who I am training at work) doesn't eat meat.
So when reception is slow, we look through magazines and collect recipes. xP

I'm involved with the vegan animal rights group on campus. Most of the people involved are vegan or supporters of it.

i know maybe ten-ish vegetarians.
one of them quit though
i also know one vegan (im vegan as well)
none of the vegetarians are strict about it though.
they still eat gelatin and whatnot

I converted my sister to vegetarianism! She probably still eats gelatin and such because it's hard to be super hard core vegetarian at college, but she is really good about not eating meat. Also, my dance teacher's daughter is vegetarian. She said she stopped eating meat after she had veal at a friends house and found out what it was... Ew. Other then that I don't know many others... I live in a not very veg friendly area. Thank goodness we have an Earth Fare here now though!

I met an ex vegan the other day. Sad thing is he seemed cool, too. When he found out I was a vegan, he looked shocked, and asked "How can you be a vegan in this town?!" I don't know why he found it so hard, unless he once lived in a town that was much more vegan friendly. (Which could be possible, I live in a college town.)

I haven't met any other vegans, sadly.

the only reason shes not a vegan like me is bc her mom is makeing her wait till shes 18..

I don't know if you only mean vegans, or if I know vegetarians... because there are a lot of vegetarians at my school. I think it's actually becoming a trend, because lately, a bunch of people have been converting to vegetarianism (not that I'm complaining!), but I feel that whenever I try to start a topic about animal rights, or about not eating meat, they aren't very interested D:

But my best friend is a pescetarian, and that makes everything okay ^_^

Oh, and I do know one vegan, but he lives all the way in California (he's my dad's friend).
