First off, this was one of the best trailer/teasers I've seen in years. It gave you enough to get you interested and give you an idea of what the movie was about, without showing you the monster or too much plot.

They made excellent use of the hand held camera conceit, and the acting was very naturalistic. It ran a little too long in the beginning, but the rest of the film was pretty cool. You only get the camera eye view, so it begs a sequel that would give a better overview, but as a stand alone movie, it still rocks. It definitely left us wanting more and speculating, but that was fine with me, as what was there was interesting and evocative. Things seemed pretty realistic for the most part, given the initial concept, though the characters occasionally did stuff because they were characters in a movie instead of well, people, but it was good.

I definitely think the sequel needs to not be hand held.

Yea, agree with you on that whole paragraph, the movie was just...plain awesome...

and I read somewhere that JJ Abrams supposedly said that they were gonna abandon the camera concept...It would be kinda weird though, a sequel with the same look...nah...Id still watch it though... xd

Saw the midnight showing of that movie and it was so awesome, but I heard that there is an essential scene after the credits finish rolling through, unfortunately I left the theater and never went back to check if it was true of not, anyone one what it was?
