A&AS Rules and Guidelines

- please no posting -

Welcome to the Advice & Academic Studies subforum! Here you may ask for help with life issues, or things such as homework.Remember that the people here do try to help, but it's most likely that the majority of us aren't professionals, so getting advice here does not mean that you should not seek help in the real world.

- Threads that belong:

----------- Threads asking for help with homework.
----------- Threads asking for help with personal issues.
----------------{ This includes subjects such as friends, love, school, work, etc. }

- Threads that do not belong:

----------- Threads giving out advice. It'd be much preferred if you just visited the threads asking for it. :3
----------- Discussion threads. They belong in the discussion forum.
----------- Threads asking for feedback on those little things such as "How do you think my hair looks?".
----------- Technical questions about Gaia, or a site in general. The A&AS is not a Q&A forum.
----------- Poll/survey threads.

- Threads that are not allowed:

----------- Threads asking for advice on how to hurt him or herself, or another.
----------- Threads promoting self-harm.
----------------{ Such as anorexia or bulimia. }
----------- Threads asking for illegal substances.. like drugs.
----------- Please do not state that you are going to commit suicide. Asking for alternatives other than suicide is fine, but there's really no need to announce something like that.

---

- Trolling, or rather "intentionally posting inflammatory statements to get responses" is strictly forbidden. This means that you will not make threads stating stupid made-up situations such as: "My mom died! ...Just kidding."

- Encouraging suicide. This is not a joking matter. People come to this subforum for advice, and telling a person you've probably never met before that they should go kill themselves is plain stupid.

- Stay PG13. Though this subforum may get a little serious, we all need to retain that PG13 rule, so no innapropriate images or language, please.
