Alright! Back from my second cosplay convetnion, and, once again, it rocked. HARD. Anyway, I took photos and movies like crazy, and met a lot of people there who were just plain awesome. NOTE: I went camera crazy on these two. Their first arrival at the convention was a separated one. The shorter one was cosplaying Yuna, while the taller was cosplay Agito in his orange straightjacket outfit. They didn't hang out with each other much until later that day [Saturday]. The moment I saw them, my mouth dropped. My friend, Amanda, pointed them out [which they are pretty hard to miss]. My first reaction was "Oh wow, two people cosplaying Subaru. The guild will love this!" And then that's when I realized they were being guided by a person to the "posing place". They reason for the guide was that both were wearing skates. My mind clicked when I saw the skates and notice the eye-bandages both wore. So, I freaked out, knowing it was Agito and Akito from the Air Gear series. On Sunday, the two were back, but this time were both dressed in their orange straightjacket outfits [the night before I asked Amanda "What if they come back tomorrow? Think they'll both be dressed in orange?"]. However, that time they weren't swarmed as badly.
FUNNY NOTE: For the first twenty minutes of their arrival, they were planted to that one spot. One reason was because I don't think they could skate in dresses, but also they were surrounded in a constant semicircle and forced to stay smooshed together. After that, they went under the shelt because it started to rain. When the Tornado Warning was announced, both were guided inside quickly and put in the Lounge Area where they both collapsed and took of the skates quickly. When the Evacuation Notice was announce, we stayed put in the Lounge, but the couple went downstairs with the rest of the people.
FASHIONABLE AND FUNCTIONAL?: Their dresses were collapsable. When they sat, as if on a spring, the dress folded into themselves to allow them to sit down without them flopping upsward and revealing a bit TOO much. I made the joke they to get home, all they'd have to do was lift their dresses and fly away like dandelions.
