Got to watch this the other day.
Has anyone else gotten to see it? It sorta wraps up the series a bit differently from the final episode of the series.

It turns out that Makoto is still alive, and she's actually still able to talk. She talks to the other girl who knows about foxes, saying that the girl doesn't need to tell Yuuichi, because she knows now that she can see him any time she wants..... and then she turns into snow (or dandelion petals, which start a snow, not sure which)
Nayuki seems to have come to terms with the fact that she and Yuuichi can't really be together, and that he really loves Ayu, which makes it a bit closer to Kanon 2006, in that way. And Kaori and Jun seem to have had their relationship fixed up, too.
As regards Shiori and Ayu it seems that not much new has happened with them, though they do meet for a short scene together. The scene from the last episode of the series, where Ayu meets Yuuichi after her haircut comes towards the end of this episode as well. So it sort of gives us a new perspective on what was happening for her.

In all, it was quite good, and made me cry all over again. And now I'm playing the game, to see what sort of perspectives THAT offers.
