Polyphonic Twilight PrimeOdd Polyphonic Twilight Soo... of course I made my brother listen to the new songs today. And he said that "Do You Know What I'm Seeing?" sounded just like a Beatles song (and he doesn't know that Panic has been talking about the Beatles a lot lately or have been being accused of 'trying to be the Beatles' and all that) surprised And then he said "Actually, it sounds just like this song I know called Golden Brown."
I don't know that song though.
And then, I made this kid Pim listen to it because he was over my house and I felt all excited and wanted to show it to someone else xp And yeah. Guess what he said.
"It reminds me of a strong by the Stranglers. Golden Brown."
I was like eek sweatdrop
This is the song... Eh, I don't think it's that similar.
I mean, those Panic versions arent even the real verisons.
But like Panic said...they have taken influence off of the Beatles.
And I think those lyrics are right. 3nodding
Poly just totally burned the Beatles. xD |

Like if someone played "Behind The Sea" for me and said it was Panic, I probably wouldn't have believed them.
It doesn't sound like Ryan to me though surprised sweatdrop Sometimes it does. But in general... SINCE WHEN DO YOU SOUND SO GOOD ROSS?!
The songs are soo pretty though. They're dreamy <3
Can you believe it, we now know 8 of the 15 songs on Pretty. Odd. !!!! That's more than half of them wink surprised surprised
And the entire album is gonna be available March 18th on The Leak at MTV.com Swizzzle! March 18th! GOT IT x]
Ryan Ross sounded beautiful at first, and now EVEN MORE beautiful x]] ::It's useless searching in the cupboards...
3nodding And can you believe that kids would pick Ryan Sheckler any day over Ryan Ross? I bought the newest J-14 magazine and that's what the poll was. And they had a small article about Panic.
But I was like talk2hand since they hadn't gotten rid of the exclamation point/

Panic!'s Music Makeover
Although Panic At The Disco is know for the computerized electronic sound of their debut disc, its sophomore album (dropping March 25) will be totally "stripped down," says guitarist Ryan Ross.
"We just wanted the record to sound like four people playing a song. A lot of the songs are more geared toward playing live ---we didn't think about that on the last record." Lyrically, the group is moving away from sarcastic one-liners. And as far as their over-the-top theatrical style and tour goes, it won't be "a circus show."
