That is one of the things about the opinions of some religions. They seem so arrogant, because simply from an upbringing, people get their own sets of beliefs, and then when they are introduced to the outside world they realize that everyone else is, "Wrong," in their religion. Just thinking that someone is going to hell simply because their parents taught them different is just odd. I prefer the beliefs that if people do what they think is the will of god, they will go to heaven, but unfortunately, atheists are an exception to the rule. Since we don't believe in god, we are already damned. I think of god as a metaphor for what is, "The greater good." But apparently that is still too abstract for some people. On a lighter note, I believe we have a thread that eventually jokes about the bible's current, "Edition." I believe we settled on something like, "Version 20XX Directors' Edition."
