I've spent most of the last year on anti-depressants, and in my case, all they did was make me feel like a zombie. I was getting CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) too, but tbh, it didn't really help. They just made me feel hollow and tired, without getting rid of the depression. They made me wiser to the fact that people would notice more if i continued cutting in somewhat visible places, so I got better at hiding stuff. I (think) I was on prozac...

I always rejected the idea of pills but then it got to the point where I absolutely HAD to have them and now I wouldn't go without them ever. If you find the right medication it can be pretty much like a miracle.
