I seriously wanna eat Taiyaki and oni-giri whee
Oni-giri probably because of Fruits Basket^^ ( heart heart heart !!)
and taiyaki because of Kirarin Revolution xp It just looked so good!

I, and like probably 97% of Naruto watchers, enjoy Ramen. xp I like onigiri cuz sicky rice is tha besht! I remember in a really old Pokemon episode, they called a jelly filled ingiri a donut because they can't really say onigiri in a little kids show and expect them to know what it is...

I also like miso soup ninja

I think it's usually rice with a piece of seaweed wrapped around so you can hold it and there's an... umiboushi (spelling?) which is a pickled plum. But you can also have other fillings in it, like my spicy tuna! ...Yum.

the pickled plum is called umeboshi.
i want to try an onigiri,too!
i tried a takoyaki before and it's not so good,so i want to try the real thing,as in the one that a pure-blooded Japanese made.
oh,and ramen.ramen,ramen,ramen!
and of course,a nabe.i really wanna try one. whee

Now how do you specifically know some of these foods are real enough?

Well if you go to restaurants ( Japanese, or Korean) the menu sometimes have things that you see in manga and or in anime. Also you can look them up in cook books and sometimes see them in cooking shows.

On a different note I had a sour plum onigri and it was delicious. I want to try a salmon one next time.

Onigiri is soooo good. I've only had ones from the supermarket (spicy tuna!!) but it was delicious. I miss it crying

I've tried making my own and it...turned out rather horrible.

lol. I've got unlimited access to that stuff...so I'm good.

I do, however, want to visit the real Ichiraku Ramen in Japan. Ajisen Ramen is good but I've always wanted to try the ramen that Naruto has made famous.

Takoyaki is delicious. There's a stand in St. Mark's Place in New York that sells really good takoyaki. 3nodding

And tamagoyaki is delicious too. And easy to make. 3nodding

And okonomiyaki is just awesome.

God, I'm a Japanese cuisine fanatic.

If you want gyoza, just get chinese potstickers, they're better. And manjuu, get the chinese ones, they're better too.

I'ma food freak. It's a wonder why I'm so friggin skinny (underweight, actually...)

You know... I think saying you love some of these foods and eat it all of the time is a little overdone.
In reality, you just love the idea of japanese foods because you love the idea of what japan was made into through your love of anime.
Food is food.
Love it, hate it, local brew, international style.
Chill.

Not sure if this counts, but I love ramen XD. I wanna try alot of the desserts and foods from shows, like this one episode of "Peach Girl" XD. Call me lame but the food in it made my stomach wanna kill for it.
