Well... The nine o' clock edition of the show on BBC2 is, apparently, edited. As opposed to the showings on BBC3. (Which I babbled about earlier, but... )
So... It's more or less already like that? XDD
Which amuses me greatly, since I was watching last weeks episode. And, well... Anyone who's actually seen it will know what I'm talking about. As well as Jack mentioning that they were playing naked hide and go seek. O.o

Katastrophic_Kate I must admit that Ianto and Jack's relationship kinda wigs me out. I mean as much as I love both of them, I just don't understand it. They never explained anything that was actually going on between them. My friend and I were just watching happily one minute and then next we're like; "WTF when the heck did they start sleeping together!!!? What did we miss!!!???" I adore Janto. I think it's a perfectly plausible relationship. But you're absolutely right. It completely came out of left field. It's like the writers were like 'they have sex now'. Just suddenly and impulsively. If you read the Captain's Blog on BBC America's Torchwood page, Jack talks about how he and Ianto were spending time together outside of work. Jack apparently was trying to bond with Ianto after Cyberwoman. However that's shoddy writing. We shouldn't have to read a blog to learn about this. I suppose they felt that Jack touching Ianto's shoulder in that ep after Countrycide (I believe) would be enough to explain the sudden relationship reveal in They Just Keep Killing Suzie. A lot of Torchwood fans call it deep. Season 2 was better. I'm excited for season 3. I doubt they'll get rid of the slashy bits.

If only my family had BBC America on our cable service plan. I have to get Mom & Dad to upgrade it before the next season starts. I did get to see the kissing scene on Youtube, though. biggrin

Gosh, I love Doctor Who and Torchwood. Torchwood is just a completely addictive and totally random show. I still remember the blow fish shot. xD Not to mention, all the horribly perverted puns and random couples appearing, like Ianto and Jack. lol Just thinking about the end of season two makes me cry. Eh..I can't wait for season three. Isn't it coming out in January?

I think I've had some sort of serious dose of fridge logic somewhere along the line, because it, er, no longer really makes sense to me in terms of plausible relationship developement. sweatdrop
It's really more like getting hit with a logic frying pan, though. That I suddenly thought "What was going through my head?" A mystery... Maybe it's just because I figured at some point that the show is an excuse for cool looking aliens, epic single episode plotlines and all sorts of shenanigans to the side.
I'm really rather looking forward to season three, though.
(Spoilers for last episode of season two.)
Even if... Well, who's going to replace, well, you know...? I can't believe Tosh and doctorface died. crying The whole last ten minutes (or whatever) had me bawling. D:

The relationships in Torchwood, seriously jump around. One second, the character is flirting with Jack the next off with someone else. >o<;; I am starting to wonder if at one point in time all the main characters have had weird moments of "naked hide and go seek" with Jack. sweatdrop  Spoilers for last episode of season two follow below. 3nodding I know, Lady Gyrfalcon. I can't even imagine torchwood without Owen and Tosh. "Doctorface" xD

lol I agree. The relationships in Torchwood are very superficial. But they're so pretty and gay that I'm okay with that. XD
I'm also curious as to what's going to happen next season. I don't think anyone can't replace Tosh in my heart. But I'd love Martha to be Torchwood's new Doc though. *loves on Martha*
