If you just want a random choice, you could always go into MS and start making your character, keep rolling the stats, stop when you get a stat grouping that is really good for a certain class, and be that class. surprised

Warrior: Slow, Tends to Miss alot, Damage Dealing Class.
Mage: Strongest class in the beginning, due to Magic Claw, but tends to even out later levels. Tele is a fun, but MP wasteful skill. Bleh.
Bowman: Slow attacking, slow moving, ranged class. Booster, and some 3rd job skills aren't necessarily slow though. Good damage.
Thief: Fast moving, fast attacking class. Decent damage, short or long range possible.
