The Ongoing Pokemon Story #1

Welcome to the Ongoing Pokemon Story! Think you can continue the story until it ends, and have it still make sense?

The rules:

--All Gaia and guild rules apply
--Try to have your section make sense with what was previously posted
--Stay within the Pokemon universe. You can, however, create your own trainers and coordinators.
--Each section should be at least three paragraphs

Now, the story:

"It's a beautiful day for battles as we seek to get this Poke Cup underway here at Indigo Stadium!" proclaimed a black haired man to the TV cameras before him. "Every trainer here has earned an invite from the Pokemon Master himself to come here. Out of the 256 contestants Sir Ash has selected, only one will walk away with the grand prize: the Pokestar medallion!"

"That's right, Mike." a second commentator added. "Each of the competitors have won tournaments in their home stadiums, but will their talents at home be enough to tackle the best of the best?" With that, the two men turned to watch as the contestants filed neatly into the stadium. The TV cameras decided to focus on one particular girl with brown hair for a moment before panning over the other 255 trainers, some of them alongside their most prized Pokemon.

After the trainer's parade had ended, the crowd hushed as a young boy with messy black hair ascended the balcony and made himself comfortable in a large chair overlooking the arena below. Every person present knew this boy: Pokemon Master Ash Ketchum.

"Well, Your Masterness?" Mike asked.

Ash glanced over the silent crowd and the trainers for a moment, then spoke: "Let the battles begin!" With that the stadium exploded in a fury of cheers and Pokemon cries.

The brown haired girl smiled as she held a Poke Ball close. I know I can do this! she thought as she jogged out to an arena....

What happens next?

The brown haired girl jogged out into the arena. She glanced around, looking at the competition she was going to face.

Suddenly, she saw two familiar faces...

"Dawn! Misty! Over here!" She yelled.

"May!" They yelled.

They raced to meet each other, all of them exited that they had been chosen to compete. After their renunion, they glanced at the screen where the trainers were being matched up to battle. The first round was a double battle, so two trainers were on one team.

The three of them glanced at the board, to their surprise... May and Misty had been chosen to compete together, and Dawn was with another girl.

Both Misty and May were getting ready to battle, deciding what pokemon to use. Their opponents were a girl and a boy. The boy used all types of pokemon, and the girl used fire. So Misty thought it was pretty obvious to use Starmie, Corsola and Psyduck, and May used Blaziken, Bulbasaur and Skitty.

Meanwhile, Dawn was spending time with her partner, and deciding on their pokemon as well.

Both Misty and May had been called down for their first match.
We can do this. They both thought.

"Presenting Misty from Cerulean City and May from Petalburg City! And on this side... Nathan from Canalave City and Ashley from Pewter City! This is going to be fiery battle, so let's begin!" Said the black haired man to the T.V camera.

The Stadium filled with cheers as the girls began to battle...
