New Years and Spiritual Celebrations

Yasmine Galenorn pointed out that even though there are other calenders pagans may follow, it's hard to ignore the shifting of the common calender and the psychological affect it has on us.

Hubby and I celebrate with champagne and sensuous, sumptuous snacks.

We also use a modified version of Yasmine's Wish List Ritual and combine it with other familial traditions.

How about you folks?

The only thing I do the same every year is stay up untill midnight, shout Happy New Year!, and make a few new years resilutions.....that I try to keep. ^-^

I'm trying to arrange a ds party so I can nerd out, and maybe drink. But new year's would just be an excuse for me. I don't think it matters. It's just another arbitrary end to an arbitrary year.
