I want my septum pierced soon before new year but I also want to know how much it hurts and the healing process.

It mainly depends on the person who gets it pierced ranging from a month to well like Bruises says 6 months. I'm not sure how bad it will hurt since non of my friends have it but they do say to be careful since there are a lot of nerves it can hit an can make it hurt really bad.

I've had mine for almost 3 years, and I'm still happy I got it.

Unfortunately it was my MOST painful modification - I have 10 - it was the only time I almost started crying while at the piercing parlor razz

Healing was a biatch, although it seemed to get on faster than my others.

Just make sure you don't have a cold/allergies when you get it done!
