The Bi girl is sitting in her class...
She is forced to be alone
She is made fun of
for just being her own.

The Bi girl takes it all
Not saying a thing
She cant let the affect show,
the tourture they bring.

The Bi girl sits there
letting them have their fun
but inside she's hurting,
just wanting to run.

The Bi girl is home
Laying on her bed
Crying her eyes out,
a pillow ontop her head.

The Bi girl never knew
that another actualy liked her
the one that liked her for who she was
was nothing but a blur.

The Bi girl goes back to school
she sat back down in her seat.
The one that liked her
came to her to meet.

The Bi girl smiled
for the first time in years.
Her new found friend and her
blew away their fears.

The Bi girl and her friend
started holding hands.
Thinking how silly it was,
for them to to foil their plans.

The Bi girl is happy
not caring about her peers.
From then on
she was not going to shed her tears.

The Bi girl lives on her own now,
living with her friend.
The only one that liked her...
Thats why she's her girlfriend.

THAT'S SO SWEET. heart

I've honestly felt sorta like that before, but not because I'm bi.
In case you're wondering, I am bi, but I haven't come out to IRL people besides really close friends, so I haven't had to put up with people bitching at me fore it. I have, however, been made fun of for years and years. Unfortunately, the experience that makes me think of this story was when this guy sexually harassed me in 6th grade, and people would make fun of me because he liked me and because I wouldn't go out with him (I was eleven or twelve years old, for pity's sake!). They reasoned that because I wouldn't go out with him, I had to be a lesbian, and at the time I didn't even know what the hell they meant when they asked me if I was straight. Meanwhile, I'm at home, afraid to change my clothes in my own bedroom or even take a shower or use the toilet for fear that this guy would pop out of nowhere and rape me. It was miserable, and thank God that I had Angie during that time. She stuck by me and made me feel like a normal human being. I was extremely thankful for her friendship during that difficult time, and I'm glad she's still there for me today. heart

While I am not saying that that isn't a really cool poem, and awesome as it is, I can see someone singing it and it being a lovely song.
Bah, I'm not sure I've expressed that well... just understand that I like it.
