We Asian (poem/spokenword)

It's spoken word in text, it's a response to racism and such. Critique and comments are welcome. biggrin

we’ll bite as hard as any man would
if their manhood is misunderstood

We Asian men can be news reporters too
why do you have Asian women just do
that? We Asians many may be laundry
cleaners, but not all of us do. We Asian
are doctors, singers, and waiters like you
we’re family men, working women,
children with dreams, reaching for the sky
we are people too

We’re no less than anyone. Please don’t say
you were just joking, you’re just making
it more demeaning to tell us that it was just
a joke, please don’t deflect responsibility
don’t deny that racism running in you,
running in them, the others who racially
slur, make jokes because its never funny

Don’t tell me don’t be politically
correct, hell, if a white man said the “N” word
there would be hell to pay, We want payment
too, that we are people, please be respectful
and learn, we many, we are just
like you, maybe then we’ll live with no
harm done, hand in hand in harmony.

Everyone is so racist these days.. T.T I don't get treated fairly.

But you know what? I don't ******** care what anyone has to say. I'm proud to be asian. Whites only criticize us cuz they're all jealous. I am so damn proud to be different from everybody. I don't give a damn to what any of y'all gots to say.

my school has this drama club thing and I know i did the best cuz thats what everyone told me and i think i did great too but i didn't get picked for a main part cuz im a frickin asian.
