I love this song so much because I can really relate to it at the moment.
I love the images created by the lyrics..such as the reference to a getaway car and staring into the spotlight..cause that makes you think of an interrogation, and that's how the singer feels..

I also like the big about giving up on God, who is sitting on his cloud and not listening even though he is screaming at him for help. I don't believe in God but there have been plenty of times when I've screamed at nothing hoping that something will help me...
it doesn't necessarily literally mean God, it could mean a person the singer reveres as a god who has power over him but turns a blind eye.

This is a section from the song called "Haunted" by Disturbed. I really like this part because while it may literally be talking about devil like creatures, to me it can be taken metaphorically to mean a person who has joined a group of people who all use people who "feed off the pain and misfortune of others". And he's saying that don't think "oh I'll never be like that" cause it's already started..
