There's a certain book I think you should make your mother read.... "Chew on This" is about Fast food, but it also has important information about their suppliers. And who would've guessed that Burger King had really rad Veggie burgers?

my mother does that too
i just act pissed and don't talk to her for the whole meal
but she's too stupid to actually get it..

The easiest way to not be phased by those meals, is to get new favorites that are vegetarian (though it might take awhile). And just have a real heart to heart conversation with her, and tell her that it really upsets you that she doesn't support you in your decision to be a vegetarian.
