Whatever. He could love it or hate it. It's his opinion about emo, but I agree with it in a way.

finally, he is sooo right! i especially love this comments to someone saying that the band is emo because of the lyrics

"i think ill blow my brains against the ceiling"
and they said this :

"I believe that would be suicidal, not emo. now, if it said something like: "if you don't go to prom with me, I think i'll blow my brains against the ceiling" ten i think that could be considered emo."

Umm, that's older emo.
Bands like From First to Last, A Skylit Drive, and SKSK are emo too...

The bands I listed are older emo, and there hasn't been any newer emo.

I couldn't call myself Bach and make classical music with lyrics, then say the stuff with only music was old and the stuff I make is the new.

Now, I am not familiar with the last two bands you mentioned, but saying From First to Last is emo is like saying slipknot is goth rock.
It's just not.
